HOW TO CHECK PAN CARD STATUS
PAN status is a facility provided by the Income Tax Department of India to check the status of delivery of your PAN card. After applying for the PAN card, the applicant can check his PAN status. PAN status shows the date of delivery of the hard copy of PAN Card.
Anyone who has applied for a PAN card can check his PAN status. You require the acknowledgment number, which is a 15 digit number which is used for tracking the PAN card through the online PAN status portal.
CHECK PAN CARD STATUS
Before checking the status of your PAN card, make sure that it has been 5 days after your acknowledgment / Receipt / 10 digit UTI code was generated.
